Are these days related to the phase of the moon? I am looking specifically at the August full moon. My calendar has the full moon occurring on the 19th, but your calendar above indicates that the "full moon pisces" is best between the 28th and 29th. Unless my calendar is wrong (it could be I pulled it off the web) wouldn't those three days be the last quarter of the moon going into a new moon?
Just trying to understand this method. I have been tracking moon phase in my fishing logs for the last 4 years. I seem to do best around the full and new moons (stronger tides).

thanks SLAPSHOT
you are correct....that the full moon is on the 19th and i was supposed to draw an arrow from that comment up to the days of the 19th and 20th....
and just put it in a bad spot making it LOOK like i was talking about the 28th ,29th,and 30th instead...when the moon is in the sign fo cancer also a water sign and great time to fish.... ANY time you get to fish ...IS a great time to fish...as i've said all along...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
the basis for astrology is the alignment of the planets and how they effect the electromagnetic FLUX surrounding the earth.. which is equalized\regulated by countless lightening strikes all over the planet....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
most people wont argue about the fact that the moon controls the tides and the hydroscopic pressure on earth's water.... but after that they don't wanna know anything about any other mumbo jumbo especially when astrology is involved....which is fine... but those planets have gravitational pull which effects behavoir of all living things from a distance because the earth's electromagnetic flux extends way into space.... and it's about
timing.....and utilizing the GOOD influence of those gravitational changes
on the electromagnetic flux... of earth... shown below are two illustrations.

Thanks! I will dig out my Eldridge tide book and see if I can find any patterns between your astrological best fishing dates and the currents and tides.

full moons look for the new moon in eldridge and find the ones with the most tide. screw the rest of the crap.
full moon good with cloud cover and rain and slop other than that that stagnet water stanks unless ya in a bay throwing yellow to busting fish.

some people are
SCIENTIFICALLY MINDED...............while others use the animalistic approach
utilizing their olfactory senses...fishermans intuition.....or their double secret spot.
or just go trolling....when you get a hit.... fish are there....

Today's date was circled on Raven's calender so I went this morning to a favorite early season spot near my dad's house and cleaned up on 'em.Just got back. The biggest was about 16-17" or so.
I'm going to try to make an effort to fish as many of the "good" dates as possible and keep a log this year and see how I fare. Will let everyone know how it worked out at season's end.
