Sorry to hear about you friends accident, I wish him the best and hope he can pull thru with the therapy and get full use of his fingers again. Tell him to push his hardest well upto what the therapist tells him to push... I can some what relate to his situation, I don't want to elaborate on details with my situation but I only wished I pushed an extra 10% or more but pain was my problem, and with the stupid pain killers I was zombified and useless to continue with my exercises.

Paul good luck. Sometimes difficult things lead to great things, like maybe a 50 when ya hit the surf again, id say that would be a great reward for overcoming this.

Kadir, sorry to hear this. Paul will be in our thoughts and our prayers. Godspeed on his recovery and hopefully it will be a full one. From what I understand he is one to adapt and overcome to do what he loves.

I met Paul a lil over a year ago when we brought him in for the MSBA Show to do a seminar. Kadir and WeeWee will attest that Paul & I hit it off immediately. We have become friends and I was shocked when I got the news upon my return from South Jersey today.
I know that Paul is the kind of guy that will deal with any permanent changes and keep on living life to its fullest.
My prayers are with Paul as he goes through this.

Kadir,
That's horrible news!
I pray it wasn't the hand he casts with!...
Even if it was, I will also hold Paul up in prayer for his recovery and an open door for him to be able to continue the pursuit of his passion!

That sucks. Would have been better if he had gotten them bitten off while he was skishing. Now that would be a story to tell. I take it he works with his hands, getting them cut off and all. Hope he recovers and this does not affect his livelihood, that would really blow. Anyway good thoughts sent his way. Tell him that soaking the wound in saltwater really helps the healing process.

Why even try.........

Wish him a fast recovery Kadir. He'll recover faster as soon as the fish arrive. Doesn't that usually cure all I'lls? Good Luck Paul.
