Great stuff guys! I introduced my girlfriends 13yr old nephew to bottom fishing last year and not knowing how he'd handle an all day trip on the ocean, I was a little concerned. The kid was a champ, caught his first cod and haddock and was hooked on it immediately! He was actually bummed out that the boat had to return home. I've since taken him on several more trips and even bought him a nice penn reel and custom rod for his birthday this week. Kid had tears in his eyes
and we break it in next week!
