My plan

To put my 7 year old son Raider Leo onto a bass eclipsing his last years best
(of 19bs) wire line jiggin by himself with no help other that me netting the fish! I didn't have as a member of the MSBA juniors yet, so the fish couldn't be entered for the clubs derby!
but he is a member now!!!
Getting Leo a cod eclipsing his last years best of 24 lbs in over 300 ft of water
on a jig (NOT bait), again with no help other than me gaffing the fish next to the boat!
Both at 6 years old!!!
Getting my other son, 4 year old Matty his first keeper bass, blue & cod,
all from the boat of course!!!

My plans for the coming season will be pretty much like last year's - although I do want to start keeping a log.

The only other thing I'll be doing is trying to keep an eye on the great influx of guys threatening to come to RI

Ahhh...they're probably headed for SoCo ...that's where all the damned fish are anyway....

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
