Fished every day this past week and averaged about 5 fish a trip, with seven being the highest amount, all 12-15". Even got a two for one deal yesterday.

I've just thawed out! My fishing gear is still stowed. This AM at 5 I crawled up in the space, grabbed the herring net and bucket and boots and nabbed a pail of herring. It was great to hear the sound of the running water and socialize with the guys at 5:30am.

Most bass this time of year are small. If you go ultra light and fish the rivers it can be fun but I will not hit the surf till 50 deg water. (couple more weeks I figure)

In the meantime,I have enough yard work and boat projects to get done now so I don't have to do these when they actually show up.

Any reports of Macs or cephalopods?
