Yes, Blues do eat small Stripers. i have seen this happen at least
3 times. All that was left was the Stripers head and my plug.
Last fall was the latest incdent. i switched to a wire leader and the largest plug in my bag and started catching big Blues .
Clammer is right there is much to hate about Bluefish. But if they are the only game in town , the savages are a blessing.

Both stripers and bloos are cannibalistic and will happily eat smaller bretheren on both sides.
