Happen to us about 8 years ago in Nov on Watch Hill Beach. I have a picture somewhere of the half a Striper. We were convinced that it was Seals.

No boat, back in the suds.

A few years ago out on the bay side on the Cape, watch a big(20 lbs) bluefish bite the tail end of a 16-17 inch bass off, only to come back and swim off with what was left struggling on the surface. The bluefish showed no interest in the plug I was throwing, just wanted fresh meat.

Tight Lines!!!!

A chopper blue could probably bite a small bass in half---but the chances of a teen sized blue being in Bahstahn Hahbah in late April are as close to non-existent as you could probably get

If they could bite a bunker in half, they certainly could bite a small striper.

I always say that if blues grew as big as stripers, no one would ever go swimming.
