Hi Bill,
Great to hear from you. I heard from some sources that you were starting to get back into the sickness.
Now that #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&'s back - where's Bassdozer?

Welcome back to the gang, #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&

The point of the whole journey is to end up where you started...

Wow, bassdozer?? Have not heard that name in awhile, Last I saw him was on Block Island about 5 yrs ago, I have no idea what happened to him? The guy would drive all the way from jersey and hop a ferry , fish the island all night and drive back to jersey in the morning! he was something! well, DZ you know how it is, family comes first and I am glad I was home when I needed to be, now that Alisson is 8 things are finnaly much better and I can fish again. Hope to see you soon.... Bill

I'm with DZ - I think we need Russ around too to explore that theory on the ghost school at BI.

Bill,
You're getting old - the person from Jersey you referenced is Cowhunter. Bassdozer = flame wars on the old website - wmi or something like that. Remember the scout fish theory. Russ is now out in Arizona doing a great job with Yamamoto baits.
By the way Bill - proud of you that you made the family a priority. I was worried about you - I'm very impressed.
Hope to hook up with you and Stevie soon - maybe we can drag TC out of his boat.

Welcome back. Miss your flame wars on SOL.

Is Patrick coming back too? I wonder if he ever caught a bluefin tuna in the canal.

As for Tim and his boat just be prepared to caugh up plenty of gas money!! he will complain for sure! No eels!! I will have to jump off the sidewalk and end it all! But then again there is always giant slug-gos! Later.........

Squibby - wrong #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& - that is a fellow from Mass that called himself #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&...

Bill's nickname #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, as well as two partners in crime Stevie Van Staal and Joe Pack, were given these monkiers by Tim Coleman when he was the editor of the Fisherman Mag, NE edition.

You mean Dave P? He had 2 or 3 teasers plus his jig when I saw him last week...

Hey cowhunter I will tell you this, plan to sacrifice fishing time for the little one! but, its well worth it! I simply found it imposible to fish the hours I wanted to and still be awake enough for the demands a little one can put on you, they get up early and in often when they are babies. The good news is it gets better and the time really does fly, hey family is very important and should always come first, the young years are the years that matter most and you can never get those back! I wish you well with your new child and enjoy it! It will give you a whole new perspective on life and everything else including fishing!

Hi, Bill: new here myself, so hi all!

Bill: never met you... but the night you caught your 52 in late October ('01?-- I forgot!)... I was in Rhody too... fishing a Breahway 20 miles East of where you reported catching your trophy! Had only teen fish myself that night (Oct. 21st or so off the top of my head?)... but was amazed & very jealous (& happy for you, as I know you're "hard- core") next day when Ronnie M. told me of your fish/ catch! Congrats again-- I wish to join you in that "50" club from surf soon enough!

I recall that night, was particularly cold (35 degrees or so)... & a NW wind? Did you really catch that fish, in the "famous" place reported, necessitating carrying it for 1.5 miles or so? If so... & I recall you did keep it & weigh it in?-- that's better legend/ strength, than carrying a "50" up the Bluff at SE! Any confirm if true/ accurate local, 5 years later?

Besides having a youngin'... was this "50" another reason, you were able to take "off" from the surf, for these years since? I wonder sometimes, if even a "60" would calm me down & keep me home more... Your example is a good one! Though I'm a Rhody visitor Falls mostly/ only... hope to meet & fish w/ you someday!
