Past few years in Milford on the Flats. Usually in late Nov. we throw 5" Mambo's to the bass. Usually 23-30" on their move to wherever.

It happens consistently good whack; fish on moderate fight then BANG ZOOM a big hit. The fight slows; you reach for the fish which is still breathing. The 30" is now !5" plus or minus. Nice big head- no butt.

You never see the blues on top and only 10 or so birds above.
