I FINALLY started to keep a log this year. For now, it is just a word document. I just put together a quick little paragraph the morning after each trip. For now, it will work. Once I get the computer set up at home, I plan to make something a little more advanced and thorough. I did see a link posted recently somewhere to a program you can purchase online. If I stumble across it agaain, I'll post it up here.

Microsoft Excel lends itself to the log.

The cells are easily minipulated and formatted.

I tweak it a bit each year. I think its a bit too much to try and note the the tide, wind, temp, etc. of each fish. So I put in general conditions and then note specifics when I do really well.

I keep a blog

I started keeping a bog and I think what I am going to do is print it up in a journal form form my son and I and our fishing. I keep the info like time, tide general idea of location (I'll pencil in my small notebook exact on the boat) and what the day produce fish, fun , laughs and of course pictures.

I share it with a few people since they give you the option to make it private
