Most everyone I know who plugs the canal uses a bike. Need to. Double baskets in the back and two pvc tubes. Pretty simple. Old girls bike, without the support bar, so you can jump off fast without a rupture. I use a drilled out golf ball shoved on the kick stand end to keep bike from tipping over and digging into soft soil. Cheap and simple. Get too fancy and someone will steal it at night while you fish. Seen it happen more than once. Funny I have never seen Ron A. on a bike. P.M.

Sounds like your bike is fine. No photos of mine. Like PM said, dont go crazy if you wanna keep it. Nothing like riding by someone with a cow barely fitting in the basket

Okay, here's mine. I know some of you guys have seen me out there on my new bike. Everything you see here comes standard except for the 50 calibur. As you can see it's loaded! Fog lamps, gaff(which comes in handy if you drop your car keys or cellphone into the ditch). 4 rod holders, 3 on the handle bars, 1 on the side. I only use one to keep the weight down, saddle bags (which I swipped from some hells angels bike at the foxy lady one drunken evening), front attached quick release beer cooler, which has a built in cd, dvd, mp3 player and satellite phone. Fighting chair with harness (to keep me from falling off when I'm sleeping), 1 ton anchor that acts as a spare braking system(yes antilock), and finally the 50 calibur I though I'd add on for chits and giggles, sure is a head turner and keeps the gulls at bay! This all can be had for relatively short money which I should be able to pay off in 7-8 years.

I have. Look for an orange bike with Lamiglas decals on the rod holders

You can ask him about the day he almost bought the ranch on it at Highbank

Hi Ron. You made a friend for life with the fly rod you sold to Christine. She's off at a fly tying class as we speak.

Mike your right now that you say that I remember the color. Problem is the last several times I have seen him he has been on the opposite side as me so the bike was out of sight, but his lure was right in front of me that is why I knew it was him. P.
