My 1322 is one of my favorite rods.Pretty much my all around stick.
My SB 121 was my favorite an I am usin it right now but i miss the extra distance i get with the 11' arra.It was wrapped by a guy on LI Dave Paresh.Nice job big titanium perfection guides.which work nice.I have a gsb 132m Wit the new system fuji's an I really cant tell ya if one set of guides work better then the other.My canal gear is a 1209 breakaway wit the yellow natuil.all my other spinner's are of the 706z variety filled wit either 30 or 20 lb fireline..I have a 1209 conventional I use for jiggin an livelinen bunker.one of my favories is a 9'st croix E- glass that I chopped about 4 inches off the tip an added 20 inches to the butt section.Built by 2 of my mentors one since passed.it means alot to me an has some great mojo.I use that for herring an bridge work.They both get a BG 7500 or a 7700 morum. I love glass rods I like how they have a more parobolic taper that is tough on bass.I think I wanna build a 11 ft. spinner for the canal something heavier than the 1322 i don't like how it gets mushy wit the jig wit 150 yrds of like out.i'm thinkin of a gsb 132 mh but they are pretty heavy which never used to bother me so much but throwin 5 oz jigs all night wit a 11 ft.heavy rod scares me a little.any recomendations.??
