I've had good luck at Home Depot and Lowes by getting to know the tool corral managers and finding out when the rebuilts are in. Got a twin tank compressor at 45% off and both Paslode guns for half price. I especially like the fact that the compressor was gone over with new gaskets, rings etc.
With regards to the pancake's capacity, as long as your not priming all 100 plugs at the same time, it should keep up. I know even a twin tank will struggle to keep up with spraying a good size piece of furniture. But it should be good enough for what I think you want to do Larry. Aftermarket regulator is a must, the OEM regulators are designed for controlling brad nailers and smaller finish guns. CS and Slip might know better about matching spray equipment with a pancake.
