When Tony C. opened Bass Run that was a great shop. let's face it a tackle shop in New England is a tough proposition unless, as CS said, you got money to burn. The earthy, crunchy, green thing leaves me feeling unclean. Ick!!!! Bring back Red MacFarlane to this earth and open it again down at the origianl site near the Harry's. Live bait, tackle and all hours of the night. Reminds me of the places that used to be by the Canal. Fisherman's Friend aside of Quintal's. Boy the plug collectors would have had to go on Valium just to walk in I can remember with my Dad walking in there and on the shelves were plugs in boxes by the hundreds. Atom's, Masterlure, Floyd Romans, CCBco, Bass Bomb, Gibbs. I miss that place and Old Biff's at the Bridge. He would open the doors on the cabinets and they were stacked with plugs in boxes. He would live there in season in a back room. Also Maco's and Calderras at the Buttermilk bay bridges. I am glad I was able to experience them, and the memories that went with them.

Do you really need to wear waders around the canal? I get away with just boots and splash bottoms.

I'd bring some rod's back to Bruce after they were done and he'd eyeball down the guide's...he'd go G.D.I. you can't get anything straight, these guide's are all off...I'd look at him #&%^(* like h*** they are, your just a cheap p**** and don't want to pay for the work YOU wanted to have done...it was like a broken record, screachin the same old tune....he'd always call later an say ..I got somemore for ya... but he'd always wait till I got back home just so I'd have to turn around and go back again.
