Hi Cap, welcome aboard. I'm Bob, obviously, and am a college prof. by trade. I'm a pilot, model airplane freak, and "dawn patroller," as I crawl the rocks and beaches from Conimicut to Weekapaug primarily during the wee hours of the mornings until after daybreak. I just turned 60, have been married to a great non-fisher woman for 34 years, have 3 physically (at least) grown kids and 3 wonderful grandkids.
I'm mostly into plugs, pastics, and flies, make my own, and am always building another "best distance casting rod ever made by humankind," that just never quite measures up to expectations. I'll occasionally toss live things, but much prefer artificials because they don't smell!
I've learned an unbelievable amount from the great people who populate this site, and am always trying to find out about the stuff they don't give out publicly!!
