Westcoast just saying HI!
To All my Eastcoast buddies I don't see enough or hear enough from. Just a note to say I miss you guys and cant wait for Sept/Oct to hit RI and The Cape.
Fishing started way earlier here and the numbers are outstanding for this early. ( I have more fish landed right now than I had at the end of July last year) So as you can tell I haven't had much time playing on the web. Which might be a good thing.
You'll be happy to know that I raided a site that was giving cell phone to Computer up to the minute reports to a bunch of poachers and total messed with there minds. I know but I had too. When they are openly telling each other on that board to speak fillipino so the "crackers" can't figure what's going on. And to come down because they have an "extra limit" I just couldn't help myself. I was so special LOL
Anyway hope the fish are ripping your plugs off, Heck I even hooked up and landed fish on that bannana looking plug the "Tammy" this week. We have agood storm passing through so I have a couple of recovery days and just wanted to say hi to you all.

Hi Winch. Glad to hear you're keeping the left coast bass honest.
How are the east coast patterns working out there, or are you still just throwing big pikie types?

Good Question Adam,
With water and weather conditions the way they are here the standard Eastcoast stuff just can't handle the conditions unless you get flat water or as you would call back east Just fishable!
What is like the eastcoast is when the first fish arrive they will not be intuned to surface plugs but go for amall bucktails like candy. For me the wood fiend its a wait and hope game. But if I time it right as the fish for some reason want surface my numbers explode, while the lead throwers can't figure where the fish are. I have had some outstanding pencil popper action including an 18 fish day. Yes I did say day as in light fellows. Last week the striped junkies have even started on the pikies which means this is the second phase of the migration as these fishes size jump from 3 to 8 pound fish to 10 to 20 pound fish. Right now we have a huge storm swell but and rain but if you understand weather direction you can find fishable spots. Today I hooked two but lost them both in a small corner where most guys would walk right by.
I am carring needles and darters for when conditios fit thier use. The one major change I see in the leadhead gang is they are finally seeing that swim baits work. assains wildeyes and other plastics are showing up. Now its up to these newage guys to have enough faith in them to keep throwing them.
I'll keep you guys informed and keep checking in. TL and I are keeping the spot namers busy on the other board I frequent and I really don't like talking to those guys that have recently joined the site. As I told Slip this is my happy sight like the old mom an pop bait shop. Hey Adam, You interested in bunking with me and Throwing Timber and Jigman in RI? We have the beach house next to Bernzy.
Let me know if your interested.

Adam No worry on your stash, I will keep my hands free, besides I'll have over 100 or so this time because I won't see Bassmaster till the two following weeks! After he drained me I had nothing left!

BAIT!!!!! You no need no stinkin bait. Just be sure you bring your seal rig I hear its like aquarium fishing for them on the cape.
David I have you scheduled for a beating after my first week in RI 9/23 to 9/30 with Bernzy, Second week 10/1 to to 10/8 with eeliepunt and his band in your favorite Ptown. Then if anyone else is still standing I go where the fish is on a freelance gurellia plug fest.. Train my young soul I am in shape and rare form already this year. Stood into 10 foot breakers LIke Lt Dane in Forest gump Sunday. Cackling at the Ocean and casting. Soaked to the bone after getting douched by truck loads of water. Yet still hooking fish. It was epic demolition fishing.
