Sandman, if you fish it, use small piece of bait vs. a fly, this works well (a few scup maybe) and drives the purist crazy.

I'll be out there June 2nd for a few days to fish the derby and fish for a few days if anybody wants to hook up for a frosty lemme know

use a full sinking line witha 4-5 ft 20lb leader ,using a spundeerhair deceiver for bouyancy. Works for me!

first flies

well I mainly surf fish and got talked into this derby but heres the first flies I've ever tied

GOOD LUCK ON THE VINYARD. cant go this year Im doing a demo for TROUT UNLIMITED for there fishing day. but heres a pic of a vinyard striper
