I've found breathables are fine even in sub 50 degree water with just a nice set of fleece long johns. The other bonus is I get to dance around Eben's truck like the fairy princess before I put them on

I was in Sports Authority the other day looking for some shorts, and I got a pair of Proline Breathables for 35.00 It was the last pair they had, for some reason they were marked at 45 and on sale... That is a 90 savings

A buddy mentioned he was in Building 19 in Weymouth and they had some breathable waders for $20..... While you usually get what you pay for, you can't really go wrong with that price!

You get what you pay for. I bought a pair there and they leaked like a sieve. Bldg 19 took the return, but it wasn't worth the hassle...

I just cut up a set of Hodgman neos I bought there 2yrs ago.Now matter how much patching I did I couldn't get them not to leak.So now the feet I use as inserts to keep my feet warm and the knees as pads for my breathables when I'm fishing "dangerous" areas.
Bldg.19 is a real gamble when it comes to waders.

Sure you can--you can have to leave a blitz because you're shaking like a leaf as your body temperature drops and hypothermia is setting in
I've never seen a pair of Building 19 waders that didn't leak like a sieve right from the get-go.

on my 3rd season with building 19 specials, neoprene, just started to leak this year, so $20 for 2 seasons worth of fishing, not bad....I do need to find a decent pair of breathables, anyone got any suggestions ?
|
Used hard and put away dirty....
