If you do make your own eel tank BE SURE to make some kind of framed screen cover for it with NO OPENINGS ANYWHERE or the slimy devils will make an escape, crawl into some unknown corner of your basement or garage, die, fester and eventually EXPLODE and the smell is something you will never forget.
