FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR from an expert, or even knowing anything about anything ....

...but if its a power problem, I would start with the power supply issue.....

.....Is there a compatability problem with it??...is there a list ??...are there certain models that work with some but not others??........DON'T OPEN OR TOY WITH THE POWER SUPPLY!!!...could lead to trouble....try another power supply...does the one you had prior to this one work with the new hardware??....or is it too small?....If its big enough, try using that one....just to see if it works....

.....could be you got a defective power supply...


....if you bought it as a package, which I doubt you did....but if you did.....return it all!!!!......
