Vic,
If you're going to where I think you're going you should have more than ONE needlefish. Also bring extra spool of line, extra tip top for rod with ferrule cement. PM me for more.

Great tip DZ, Yes the rod tip is always overlooked! I am always busting mine. Bring a couple of those.

bringing only one needle to 'the island' is like bringing only one dollar bill to the foxy lady

True.....But if you can balance a folded dollar on your nose while leaning backwards so your torso is above the catwalk and if you can hold that pose while the dollar is snatched from your nose......Well then, a single dollar may suffice!

As far as what to bring to the island on an overnight trip - I would only add that you bring an extra flashlight, a fish rope, and DZ or #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& if they are available. Dress into your waders and fully gear-up on the boat over - saves a lot of fishing time.

Since were on the subject of BI, how do you travel around to the spots ?

Is there a taxi service that will bring you to were you want to go ?

If so are they just going to drop you off were the asphalt stops and your forced to walk down the dirt road ?

Does the taxi service allow 10' rods in the cars?

Know that I think about it BI is short enough to walk but it get tiring, warm and cut into fishing time.

I prefer to fold the bills in half left to right, I then fold the bill, top to bottom. Take the top right-hand-corner and carefully tear a half circle. Unfold the bill. When they come over to you, tell them to get creative . propellers always get two thumbs up from me... then there's that one Brazilian gal, who does a headstand in your seat while your in it, and her *happy* place is directly in front of your eyelashes... thats always good for a laugh....

Thanks for the suggestions guys, Yeah wtf was I thinking 1 needlefish, I'll stuff 3 of those clear zip up pencil crayon envelope holder thinggies with em and toss them in the bag... didnt think about the tip top Thanks DZ.

Just wanted to thank everyone you guys all truly rock!

Domination takes full concentration..
