Steve....this is my first post here, but my prayers are with you and your wife, and family...I am a Surgical ICU Rn in a busy Boston hosp.....and 'see' what you are going through on a daily basis. 'Western medicine' has never been better, but having said that, I have seen a positive attitude 'out-do' ANYTHING medicine has to offer....I know, that's easy for me to say, it's easy for someone who is not experiencing what your are to say that...but as you and your wife go through this tough time...do your best, to stay positive....Western medicine is unmatched, but someone's psychological state of mind, is even more powerful...good luck.....Bob

Steve,
Sorry to hear about this.
I wish you (both) the best, and a full recovery.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

I am very grateful to you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers for Deb, myself and our family. I am trying to stay strong but have my moments such as this one now where after reading all these responses I must honestly tell you I have tears rolling down my cheeks. God this sucks...

Why even try.........
