lead core 4/5 feet per color depending on speed , if you dont want to get into that , the new superbraids will go deeper than mono , power pro ect. you have to play around every lure ,tube ,ect will be different on every different type of line . you learn real quick when you give a few $10.00-$30.00 rigs to the bottom monster
