I went out to the AB Friday morning...nice 5' - 7' swells. Felt like I was on a carnival ride for 4 hours. I had one knock down but couldn't get to the rod in time, and she spit the hook. About 1 hour later I nailed a nice 12 pound bluefish.....so my first knock down might have been a bluefish hitting the jet head. Not sure.

I plan to hit the area between AB and MH some time this week if weather permits. Any reports from you fellas?

Cool! Nice job. How was the battle? Did you use lighter tackle or the big guns?

My juices are starting to flow.

Used light tackle. Actually used my livelining bass gear and some heavy spinng gear (Accurate Boss 665, Thunnus 1600) both rigged with tuf-line and flouro leaders. Headed back as soon as time allows. They'll be around for a couple weeks.
