Mike at M&D's will take good care of ya. Maybe give some info on which type of fishing you do primarily may help folks give more fitting suggestions. Cant go wrong with a chicken scrath bomber

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll hopefully make it to M&Ds before it closes one of these days this weekend. RRC's gonna help me pick out some stuff. I usually fish from the shore or jetties or rocks and the like. Haven't ever boat fished, and I don't go chunking really often -- makes me smelly, although it's good if you want to have a few drinks and hang out. The rod I have now is good for rubber shad and other light lures -- 8'.
Sandy -- I have a practical bottle store in my trunk -- does that count? And I used to work on a boat. Sailing, but we still had the Father's Day fishing sail.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
