 Had one at the race last July measured 47 inches long before release. Estimated low 40 pound range, only fish that night. Ray "Eelpunt" Goeke needle.  |

1st season using them and caught one this past sunday which taped out to 38". others were using dead sand eels on a drift and i decided to cast a 7" black over pearl needle, hit on the first cast, absolutely made my day
