I have often heard it said, "All things lead to fly fishing." Now, I don't know how true that is, but I can say that the long wand is a lot of fun and if you tye your own flies it's even more fun.

You are headed in the right directions for now. Stick with the tackle you have invested in for now and get a little guidance from the folks here at S-B.com, and maybe even a mentor will take you under his/her wing and show you the ropes at the seashore.

The most important thing is to have fun. The second most important thing is to catch fish. I'm sure you'll get to do both.
