Why do you want to change Goodyear Wranglers to another brand,I have Goodyear Wranglers RT/S 265/70 R16" I kinda like-em & hope to get alot out of them.
How many miles did you get from you'rs,did you rotate @ 3,000K,what kinda driving did you do off road,HWY,City or all of the above.
Thank's

I do tons of highway, and city. Some of my driving is on the sands of the cape. I just feel that the Goodyears are overpriced, and over rated. I like these new tires, they are much quieter, and feel like a better ride than the wranglers. I had the wranglers for 4 years and about 68,000 miles. The wranglers would have cost me about another hundred bucks in the size I wanted, and with one income, and a new baby you save where you can...

I hear you there on the income thing,we do get creative when we need to.I have 2 of my own & have a lil time to kill.......The reason Im asking is that I just bought a brandy new truck & she came w/ Goodyear Wranglers & was just courious as to why you didn't stay w/ the same,68K is pretty good in my book, but Im sure when the time come's I know i'll be doing some recon work.
Thank's & best-o- luck w/ you're Newbie.

do the coopers stand up well with beach driving?? Thats the kind hubby is thinking of getting so I am curious. We have Michelins on now (were on it when we bought it 4 years ago and 6?,000 miles later) they have held up well for the abuse we have given them but its getting to be that time....
Have had BF Goodrich's All terrains-ok but sidewall rubber seems to crack readily when running the beaches-mud terrains did the same and tread wore really funky-making the noise factor even worse.....

Michelins are the best period.More $ but will last..I just replaced mine , got 70,000 miles out of them and I believe they were only rated for 50-60 k and i'm not one who's always rotating them either , but I always make sure pressure is where it should be....my .02 cents. johnny
Opps, you were talking beach tires , i'm road only...sorry
