IM a big fan of Loomis rod's,I hope the God's have already blessed it for you & I wish you the best w/ it.Hey if you can stop chasing them Hillbilly's around and drinking Moonshine try to take advantage of the local fresh water spot's and do some monster catfishin.
I heard the Folk down there have the best "Rack of Racoon"this side of the Mississippi

I have a 9' Loomis rod that Dave Hammock built for me at the old Murat shop. Got to be 10 years old. I once caught a 38# bass at Ballston on it. Great blank.

No boat, back in the suds.

Want to know what i am tiered about catching under 5 pound stripers...I am 2/2 for this year by being under the leanth limit.... At the place i go to I see people catching blues dogfish and at least 20 pound stripers.... I am cursed...I onily caught 1 keeper my life and i caught it when i was 7....and that was 28 1/2 inch and about 15 pound just maid it... ever sence that BAD LUCK ....Hiting the canal sometime this week,Hopefully beating my record by a long shot....
