Certainly looks like it but you can't see the northern jetty in the picture. There is a smaller one that you cannot make out in that picture that most people fish from when the tide is higher but you really don't want to try to get to at high tide. At high tide, especially with a moon high, you'll have water in the passenger's seat if not carefull. The water gets VERY HIGH!!! A fellow dies there last year or the year before because the tide came in so fast, one fellow fell in nd his buddy tried to save him. The buddy died. On the other hand, the tide goes very low there and you can wade far beyond the northern jetty. But there are a couple big drop offs, like more than 6 foot, that you need to be real carefull of.... But yes, that is one famous schoolie holdover spot when it doesn't freeze out all of the fish :P
