Only problem I have seen is the hook going thru the tail during a cast.

My redgills get curly after a few casts from the hook going up the body, but I've never lost one, or even half of one, short of to the people I fish with. I've been using the same redgill since I first bought them last season. Maybe I got a good batch? The superman redgills?
The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
