See, I would stay put like you guys and the majority of the guys who have responded but that doesn't seem to be the case with what I saw last night. What is really interesting is that the reports are all at least 24 hours old or older and the fish have fins. They move. I'm betting all the spot jumping nitwits I saw last night got skunked. the fish are moving around right now and the bite has cooled somewhat.

I voted number 3 but number 2 also applies......I don't chase yesterdays fishing reports and I don't like fishing in crowds....so I like to find out of the way spots and don't care to what lengths I have to walk to find them!

Aways have and always will go to the fish. Big fish on the outer cape, I'll go there, big fish in RI, I'll go there,etc.....Dont need specific spots, just general areas. Its good to have friends that fish all over. Lotsa miles on my vehicle.

know your area and spots and stick with them. Nothing builds confidence more than sticking with your regular spots and searching your brain for the answers to the puzzle instead of searching for the fish.

Who is the nitwit posting specific spot names? If they weren't there before, they'll be there now.

I always fish in neighboring states, preferably coastal ones.
