I haven't gone in there since I got a coast guard 50 caliber maching gun escort out of there a week after the 9/11 bombings in N.Y.
I guess they thought I was planning on blowing up one of the cruise ships!!!

I use to troll my boat through there quite a bit a few years back and ALLWAYS got fish there, especially when the power plant was still open and it would hold bass there when it was cold in late Oct.

Are you sure it wasn't because of the "Go Raiders" sticker on your boat?
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Please be careful not to be too specific when speaking of any spot anywhere...the internet can overwhelm a spot and ruin the fishing for those that have put their time in and currently enjoy fishing there
TimTim...If you put your time in this area there are fish to be caught

I just happen to go by, when I was working in the area. I did not mean to "spot Burn". But from the 20 guys sitting there I do not think I burnt anything.
I work on Black Falcon Ave and i am always out there in the morning before work and lunch time and to tell you the truth it is not a very productive place for fish. I am not saying this to turn you away! By all means go ahead and give it a shot... Just be prepare to get all kinds of faces from people there. I even got faces and didn't have a rod in my hand!
Black Falcon pier is big enough to accomidate 50,000 guys not to mention all the rest of the area Patrick ... Not like I stood on a stage at a MSBA meeting and burnt your spot ... where ever you can get in with a rod its like Boston Harbor ..
