...GB, about the tent thing..... I'm not too sure about anyone else....but if I'm spending just one night on that island......I "AIN'T" sleeping!!!... ..not when theres fish to be caught and a derby to be won!!!..if I happen to get tired, I'll just play dead on the rocks some where....so don't try and give me mouth to mouth if you see me laying down...

...But I am curious about how this is going to be set up...as far as teams, or is it an individual thing or a do whatever you want kinda thing....and how the "food" is going to work out....is it going to be a "bring your own grub" thing...or are we gonna have a little cookout to kick this thing off...and everyone say what they plan on bringing...and ...and ...and.....just thought I'd open the door to some ideas. June 15th is gonna seem like two days away before ya know it and we should have all these things discussed beforehand

...I pictured something like a little cookout, and you could always bring your own finger sandwhiches in case you get hungry thru out the night...to give ya some extra needed fuel... ...I don't think we should go overboard with stuff though....we're there to fish, not work or give others work....

....I just thought maybe others are thinking about these things but not posting questions yet...I've got no problem either way (cookout vs. BYOF) ~ I just wanted to know, cuz I'd like to help out in any way I can. Opportunities like this don't knock on your door everyday!! ...and I'm a team player, so.... GO-O-O-O - Team!!!

Your right Bloo I will be fishing all night but I don't know about every one else and seeing as we have about 20+ that are going if some did want to go back to the house for the night it would be nice to have a place for as many as possible. I will bring my grill and I thought we could kick it off with a cookout from 10:30 to 11:30 on Sat. at the house that would give everyone a half hour to get to the beach by 12:00 for the start. Then on Sunday we can all meet back at the house for lunch at say 12:30 or so and have another cook out and for John to give me the prize for the biggest fish I will take all the food and goodies over before the 15th that way we will be ready to go on Sat. to fish fish fish.

What about bikes ? Is it easyer to access spots on wheels or is better to hoof it ?....GB I do have a 6 man tent in case the weather gets nasty....you know to keep our gear dry.

I'll give a blue fish mouth to mouth before giving it to a bloocrab

Thanks Goose we can take your ten over some day in late May or early June. Could take us a weekend to set it up so maybe we should plan on a Sat. Sun. stay just to figure where to put the ten no fishing That would not be fair. As far as the bike goes I use to ride to the west end with a bike but I have been told that the owners have put up a gate and do not want people riding down the road. Also the roads on the island all go up hill both ways if you know what I mean. We may have to go over another time to check this out also? Looks like I may need to make many trips over before June 15th it will be hard work but someone has to do it

Ps the only good Bloocrab is one that has been boiled in a pot of water.

We still need to hear from Tattoo? JHABS? Sandman? Clamdigger? Crafty? Saltydog in June? BM? quint? FISH EYE?
How many would like to fish live eels? I can get them for all and bring them over just need to know how many we think we need? I am thinking of getting a cart while there and only fishing from the boat part of the time that way I could run around and see that every one was set for bait and food all night? Can every one bring a cell phone or hook up with some one else that has one that way we can all be in touch?
