there's just so many combo's you can do with x number of pin's in a lock,,you got lucky....no need to buy new door knobs/dead bolt's,,,the old one's could have been repined to change the code and just gotten new key's to match.

BOAT fish do count.

They are sold in sets like that so you only have to have one key to get in the front door or back door.
They call it keyed alike.

Schlage Locks are for the most part low security easily pickable locks. I would find a locksmith shop and tell them what level of security you want and spend the bucks for some really good deadbolts.

Low Security. You can buy master key sets to open Schlage locks online...

Put a couple of old, rusty cars (preferably old firetrucks, Mr. Miyagi pickups, and camaros) on your brown lawn, and no one's gonna even start to think of how they could get past those locks.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

Larry the boxes will have a code on them. This way you can pick through the lock sets and get as many keyed alike as you want. They probably have 20 different codes per store. If you really wanted to , you could hang around the store all day and wait for someone to but a set with the same code as you then follow them home. Besides if someone already has a key that will fit your new front door lock what difference does it make if both use the same key. Less keys to have to carry, and if someone really wants to break in they will key or no key.
