"91" my mech. said it sound's like the other mech. took off some of the top of the exh. port . said they sometimes do that on racin motor's when they turn them up ??? also said I couldda gotten a 50 hp instead cause of the way I drive bein an old fart an all.

that should be chuggin water out the back at idle. ka-whoosh,,,,ka-whoosh.
poppet valve is blocked.
it looks like a small t-stat housing way down low, under the computer.take it appart. rubber seal and all, and clean the sand out.
the spring. the plastic thingy. etc...
it olny goes one way, so put it back in right.
hot-rodders drill holes in the back of the housing to make them louder/relieve exaust pressure.
look on iboats.com in the yamaha section. everything you ever wanted to know about those old yamahas.

Tks...John....freak...will talk to jr. about that,,didn.t get to see him leave with the boat, some gal came down with her dog and stood inches away from the back of my truck where I was standing as he left..kinda got lost for a minute.by then he was already across the pond.

plain old calf...laytex porch an deck enamel...wears like iron...stick's to anything...if you want it off you have to grind it off...same stuff is on the side's where the gas filter and cable's are...scrub all you want with bleach and soap....the paint stay's put.
