Swimmer, Depending on the amount of a one-month payment, might it not be worth your sanity to just pay the extra month? I know it would encourage them to screw other people and it would go against your principles and whatever other reasons you would have for not wanting to pay, but is it worth the hassle? Wouldn't it be nice to be able to set up your auto-debit, sit back, and never have to worry about it again? All the time it seems like you're going to spend fighting this whole thing...time is precious. Go fishing instead.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
