You think those greedy SOB's could have taken the hit for the benefit of the country for a few days until the refineries reopened (not that I believe that had anything to do with the price spike) it was opportunistic for the companies to make a killing given the circumstances!!!
The government had a job to do easing the situation and policeing price gouging...well they should have started at the top and worked their way down! Prices are now leveling off and why???? Because there was no urgent need for such an increase!!!
And oh...by the way...did they donate one red cent for the victims of Hurricane Katrina?????
