Got back last night from Cuttyhunk. Fished our brains out. Lots of big bass around right in tight to shore. Many big bass were caught during the tournament. Biggest was 44 inches (we don't go by weight for practical reasons). Several others over 40" were caught. Saw some bigger bass on Sunday morning after the tournament was over. Lots of bait in tight and big bass in among them. Never got the big one myself. Just a few in the 15-20 lb. range. Here's pic of my brother-in-law's 41" 22#er. Can't wait to get back out there over Columbis Day weekend.
For what it's worth, the Fishing Club is great but it is the most expensive housing option on the island. There are many other houses to be had for less per person per night. However, most of these houses are weekly rentals (maybe negotiable in the off-season) so the Fishing Club is a good short trip option. Go to
