"We're Just Trying To Make Money"

John Zacks, jr. who has been fishing for most of his 78 years, says he and his fishing buddy were just trying to make a bit of money to buy fuel for their boats!!! But the state Department of Enviromental Protection says you can't earn money through the sale of 805 lbs. of striped bass trucked across state lines!!!

Police revealed that Zacks, an East Haven, Conn. resident and Benjamin Rapuano,Jr., of New Haven both face charges in Conn. & Mass. after state & federal police caught them selling fish to a New Bedford, Mass. dealer!!! They were caught with 33 stripers valued at $1500.00 and and 91 scup valued at $200.00!!!! Zacks admitted that he knew striped bass were prohibited from being sold in Conn. and so they took the catch to Mass.!!!

If only I got paid $50 a striper instead of spending that much.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

I hope they fry them.

Were they arrested?

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
