I'll give you my 2 cents worth on the issue you raised. The Teeny lines have a fast sinking head with very light wispy running line. I used one for a while and didn't really like it for shore fishing. It tangled too much.

I also have a Cortland QD325 line. It is a fairly fast sinker with an intermediate running line as you mentioned. I don't like this line at all. It tangles to beat the band. Many who use it have cracking problems where the int. running line meets the hi density head.

The Airflo Depthfinder line is a joy to cast but had some durability issues which they may have corrected.

I've been using regular old shooting head setups for over 30 years so I guess I'm partial to them.
