Yup, I have caught several around 50" in the past 3 years that were well under 50#. I think the days of a 50 being a 50 are gone. At least in these parts. What do you guys think?

Congrats on a big fish NoSpots; noone I know has one close to that big this year....

Nope, in fact I think its the oppisite, there have been more 50lb and 60lb fish caught at block Island this year then any time since the 80s, granted most are from boat but whats the difference? it proves there out there.

I guess, but at anyrate the fish must have been at least 45-48lbs, Man with all the top dogs covering the whole coast last night from boat and shore and your the only one nailing these corker bass, you must be on to something. Congrats!
