If the fish is measured from tip to fork at 50" it should be close to 50#. At 51" over all (tip to tip), the fork length may only be 48". Most of those weight charts are for fork length. 48" fork should be in the low to mid 40#'s range unless she was really fat.
Regardless, it's still a great fish. Congrats!
