What he said.

There was a nice school of fish that went through that week after thanksgiving last year. the whole south coast of RI was a blitz. Then I went out on Dec. 5 and the sea was dead. that was my last day last year.

This year I am going to try to learn some winter techniques from Clammah. Apparently he fishes the bay year round.

I don't fish Boston to much, but you're not to far form Rhody or even CT. I make the commute from the Springfield area every weekend until usually the first week of December. Hey, gas prices just fell.

As of last friday night there were still good size fish on the so. shore of mass. I think there is at least another 3-4 weeks of fishing in that small state to the south of us(no spot burn).

Fished lunchtime today up here with Steelhead and Doc. Lotsa micros, and I got a nice 35" fatty willing to take a needle on a slooowwww retrieve. I believe we will have fish around later than any of the past three or four years based upon the numbers still around.

There's still a lot of bait that hasn't even dropped out of the upper bay yet.
