Thanks for the link. I did know that story but not in such detail or enough to recognize "Al" but now I do.

I'm also intrigued by the story of "73 pounds, a monster striper caught by Anton Stetzko on Nauset Beach, Massachusetts back on November 3, 1981"

Now that gives me motivation to continue fishing in the days of November.

From what I've read here in the very short time I've been a member, this fish should be disqualified from world record status. No fancy waders or splash top, no wader belt, no 300 dollar rod or 500 dollar reel, and to top it all off: white boots.

Well, maybe next time...I got the big skunk at the places I fished last night. Managed to snap off a few heavy bucktails in the process too..


Any one else go out last night? How'd ya do??
