Yes Bigfish. You looked like you were having fun testing your plugs.

I had to check out the herring run to see exactly how bad it was this past year. It was really sad to see so few herring in the run. Looks like that river is headed for extinction. I wonder if there will be a complete ban on taking herring there (well, all the runs are kinda getting sparse). Makes sense to me.
Larry, a good alewife or blueback immitation in the works ?
We (me and 3 friends) had the 3rd week in July at the Scenic Park. Fishing was fair (my friends caught some blues and bass too). My back is too far gone to be throwing plugs but I wheelchair myself down to a rip, start chumming and set up a rod. I've caught some nice fish in the canal up to the second week in November. Still not too late (but with the snow comming down outside my window right now, I just want to put my down blanket over me and hibernate until spring)

I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing about it, but I still have dreams about it at least once a week. That 2 hr blitz I was into. I probably had about 30 fish or so up to 30lbs on top water (salty buggers, guppy's, and gibbs) and Hab's needles. Not a short in the school either. I also know of at least 1 fish @ 50 that was taken out of there that morning as well.
Didn't get to fish with as many people from the site as I wanted to, but got to wet a few lines with some great people.

Season is far from over for me. So hopefully I'll get to fish with more of you, and steal more of your plugs soon.

My most exciting moment of the season was definitely my first keeper.

I wish I had simply gotten out more, or perhaps lived closer to the shore.

Fished with a couple real nice guys from the site. One (I'm not naming names) is really a skilled, dedicated, and intuitive fisherman, and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the next Frank Daignault (except WAY nicer) in ten or so years. Lots of talent around these parts, I must say.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

Front page of the site says it all for me. The Derby was unbelievable. Best year yet and far from over.

Other than september and october my season kinda sucked. October we had some good fish locally which was nice for a change. Got to fish with bigfish, slingah, joeyg, afterhours, torlando and redlite. I gotta thank bigfish for doing surgery on me that one night . Would have been a tough ride home if it wasn't for him and slingah.
