But they get contractors from either end of the spectrum- it's a crapshoot.
Had my stairs and one room carpeted, neither was done right so I called HD and they kept sending (3 times) the same two boobs back to repair what they obviously couldn't get right in the first place. Then I finally called HD and told them if they send these clowns back to my house again I'm going to hang out in your flooring department and tell everybody that tries to order carpet what you did to me.

Then they sent someone else who ripped everything out and installed new carpet professionally.
