Bill;
you could go, or should go, or would go...
or it's over, its finished, bass are all gone, take up blackfishing
but you did go; I was lazy last night, fished in street clothes; saw lotta smalls, nothing on snakes, went home....
did run into another ghost of the night; JoeP....

This gross SS darter with rustoleum convinced me bass eat anything that swims looks familiar. When I used to fish more I caught a handful on it.

OK, I must admit that I got the call from King #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& last night. I took his advice and "tonged 'em" this morning. Not quite as big as "The King" but mid-twenties are fine for me.

THANKS TO THE #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&!!!!

You know, just 'cause I got the call and went is no reason to get nasty.

Nice fish #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& and Piemma!
You guys think this means there will be a push of fish now? I've only been on this forum a few months, but it seems #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& just knows how to find the fish, even when they are supposedly not around. Based on that Block Island thread, #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& sounded like the only guy that caught fish that weekend.

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& thinks like a fish. I can't tell you how he knows but he told me at 2 yesterday afternoon where he thought there would be good fish and..... Bingo!!! He was 100% right. Just a real, real good fisherman. He is the best eel slinger I ever met and has an uncanny knack for finding fish.
I can't tell you what he does differently from every other eel thrower. I have stood RIGHT next to him with the same rod, reel, line, leader and hook. He will hook 2 fish to my one and I am pretty good with eels. That's why he's called the #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&.

No boat, back in the suds.

Ya know Paul, speaking about your "many years of crusty wise wisdon", as I was telling Brian last night, that story you told me a couple weeks ago about you seeing sharks years ago at a certain location I fish very often...

had me jumping out of my freakin waders last night at every shadow I saw between waves when I was fishing there - and had me thinking that a fin was going to arise from the water whenever the waves stopped and it was dead calm.

Man the tricks a mind can play when you are all alone and there is not a lot of surf & too quiet...

Thanks alot.

whoops, wasn't trying to start an #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& love fest, but anyways, I'm sure #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& knows what he is doing, the real point is, just because #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& was able to get into some fish, doesn't nessarily mean the cows are in the pond.
Do you guys think the fish are starting to run or was this just a case of a good fisherman getting some islolated big fish?
