Your best bet is to find one that has the wall mount feature and supports a DC feed or better runs AC off an inverter that has protection for the on/off and load of starting a vehicle. I also think LCDs for DVD payers are rare -v- LCDs for computers, which are a different breed... I bought one on Ebay last year, a 12" that supports 800x600, 800 NITS (Daylight viewable) for a "vehicular project" I am doing and I stole it for $200 - thehy usually go for over a grand
