Just a thought but you may want to put all the info for this swap in the 1st entry of this thread, along with the list of participants. that way if people have any questions they can just go there instead of picking through all of the entries trying to get the right answer....it may cut down on the confusion.

You could also put down what plug each builder is making next to his name, that way not only can you keep track of what's being built, Some people who are still deciding on what to make can look at the list and get some ideas as to what's being made. (i.e. hmmm i see a lot of needles but I don't see any surfsters, maybe I'll make some of those.)

Just some suggestions

I picked up the wood last night and will start "Turnin' and Burnin'" this weekend.

My plan is to have all of them Spun, Sanded, Weighted, and Sealed by the end of the month....Then I can get them painted and epoxied after Xmas.

Gonna go pilliage my wood this weekend from the special stash. Hope there is a great selection again. So many different exotics to choose from, hmmmm Gonna be a shame to paint them.

Used hard and put away dirty....

The more the merrier. The hole is already too deep what the hell. I just keep thinking I am going to get 20 some odd awesome plugs and that is a cool thought. I will be able to open up a tackle shop. Paul

OK then how do you all feel about adding another to the swap?

gonfishintalk was away when the thread went up and he was hoping to get in on it if possible.

What do you guys think? I know it was supposed to be around 20 total but many of us make extras anyway so it's no big deal to me.

If the consnsus is that it's OK , then I will add his name and change the total # of plugs.

thanks

Mommy I'm scared.......... Seems I have the dreaded epoxy adhesion problem with a few of my plugs, not all but 1 is too many as far as I am concerned with 23 to build I need to rectify what the hell is going on

Paul,

What is your process?

Sealer?
Paint?
Clear?

Are you getting fish eyes or bumpy finish?

Make sure your hands are clean , wipe plug down with denatured alcahol , make sure to scuff , and make sure e-tex is warm and mixed well .
Good luck .
